Silmaril Technologies Inc. ("Company", "we", "us") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal information. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and share information when you use the TenX learning app (the "Service").

   Email address, display name, profile photo, and authentication identifiers from social sign-in providers (Google, Apple).

2. Learning content

   Problem images you upload, AI-generated analyses, your answers, wrong-note records, and study activity.

3. Usage data

   Device type, operating system, app version, language preferences, anonymized interaction logs for service improvement.

4. Payment information

   Subscription status and transaction identifiers received from Apple App Store, Google Play, or Stripe. We do not store full payment card details on our servers.

2. How We Use Your Information

• Provide and operate the learning service (problem analysis, hints, wrong notes, statistics).
• Authenticate your account and prevent abuse.
• Process subscriptions and manage billing through Apple, Google, or Stripe.
• Improve our AI models and service quality (aggregated or de-identified data only).
• Send service announcements and respond to support requests.

3. Information Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share only with these categories of service providers under contractual data-protection obligations:

• Supabase (authentication, database, file storage)
• Google (Gemini AI for problem analysis; image data is processed transiently and not used to train their general models per Google's API terms)
• Apple App Store / Google Play / Stripe (payments)
• Analytics and crash-reporting providers (aggregated metrics only)

Depending on your jurisdiction, you have the right to:

• Access, correct, or delete your personal information.
• Request a copy of your data in a portable format (GDPR Article 20).
• Withdraw consent for marketing communications at any time.
• Object to or restrict certain processing activities.

5. Data Retention

We retain your personal information only as long as necessary to provide the Service and comply with legal obligations. When you delete your account, learning records, wrong notes, and profile data are permanently removed within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

6. Children's Privacy (COPPA)

TenX is intended for users aged 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can delete it.

7. California Residents (CCPA)

Your information may be processed in countries other than your own. We use standard contractual clauses and other safeguards where required to protect your information during international transfers.
